A couple Friday’s ago, I finally made it to my first Creative Mornings lecture and what a great experience it was. They have talks all over the world every month with special guests and provide breakfast. This month in New York, the theme was Robot. The Parsons The New School auditorium was sweltering with amazing creative energy and it felt so good to be surrounded by creative people. I felt “at home” in that space and instantly craved more of a professional work environment like that. This month’s Robot theme was held with special guest speaker Carla Diana. Though science and math in that sense of technology aren’t my thing, I was instantly moved by her passion for her career and how she took such technical elements of technology to create these amazing robots that were super cool, creative and fun. The lecture recording isn’t available on the site just yet but you can see other talks Creative Mornings have hosted HERE. I’m warning you that they are very inspiring and if you ever get a chance to attend one, I’m pretty sure you won’t regret it.
