Jersey knit scarves made from old t-shirts are perfect for the spring because they aren’t bulky and heavy. The weather is not super cold anymore so you don’t need chunky layers. They are also seriously inexpensive and easy to make. I learned how to make this fringe infinity scarf over at Lakeland Local and created this one pictured in about ten minutes. I used an old t-shirt that was lying around so this scarf cost me $0 to make. All you need is a t-shirt and a pair of scissors that can cut fabric and you are in business. I’m totally hooked and will be hitting up a thrift store very soon for some cheap old t-shirts. I also plan to make at least one dyed one for an ombre look. More on that and different t-shirt scarves you can make soon.
