Easter Inspiration:: The Ten Commandments

Happy Easter to the Christians and Happy Passover to the Jews. I’m watching the annual Easter movie favorite on ABC, The Ten Commandments. There’s so much inspiration and artistic appreciation to be drawn from the film and costumes. The princess’ gowns, the mens robes, armor and adornments and the women’s headdresses and accessories, etc. I really am fascinated by ancient Egypt. They’re style of dress, architecture and artistry was so beautiful, luxe and interesting. In many ways, they were ahead of their time. But back to the movie, a random thought, I would love to see James Cameron do a remake of it. I think his imagination would make this story even more magical on the silver screen.

Wishing you all a safe and happy Holiday.
