Baby Shower Favors Idea: Mason Jar Cookie Mix

This weekend that just past had me running around like crazy helping finish up the last minute details for one of my girlfriend’s baby showers. These favors her sister came up with were too cute and I had to share them for inspiration. We took mason jars and measured out and filled them with the dry ingredients for cookies. Cute, right? For added cuteness, we added fabric to the jars simply by putting the fabric down first and then screwing on the top and tied ribbon with the baby shower labels and 2 cookie mix recipes around them. They were a hit at the shower and everyone made sure not to leave with out one.

  • Mason jars
  • Dry ingredients for cookie mix: flour, sugar/brown sugar and chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and/or M&M’s
  • (Optional) Lt wt cotton fabric
  • Ribbon
  • Laminated labels
  • Hole puncher

Put your own spin on these. You can put other things in them like candy or even mini cookies. Get creative with it.

  1. I love these baby shower favors. I’m planning a baby shower for my daughter and want to make these, especially since I am a canner. Love the tags, but have not been able to find the graphics (monkey and giraffe). Were these ordered or did someone make them on the computer?
