I just love the new pair of earrings I made for myself recently. I’ve been on the go, busy with my 9-5 job and working on re-vamping my accessories shop so I haven’t made a pair of earrings for myself in a while. It was nice to take a break from my the day to day crazy productive schedule and do something for myself. These are super easy to make and I love this fabric; the print is so vibrant and fun.

Stay creative.

Being an art and makeup enthusiast, drag queens have always had a special place in my heart. If you’re like me, you’ve learned a lot of great makeup tips from them. They know how to beat a face.  To this day I still love the movie To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar.  It was def hilarious seeing Wesley Snipes, the late Patrick Swayze and John Leguizamo strutting around as women.

First off, I’ve loved RuPaul for many years. I used to watch his talk show, The RuPaul Show, back in the 90′s (remember that?), didn’t know MAC cosmetics existed till he modeled for them and when I found out he was creating an America’s Next Top Model type show but for drag queens, I couldn’t wait to see the “extravaganza”. The Drag Race  ”girls” are FIERCE honey. It’s all about  hair/wigs, makeup, wardrobe, diva-tude and ripping the runway. The show is on the LogoTV channel but they also can be seen on Vh1 if you don’t have premium cable. I just love how our creative minds can transform a blank canvas into anything we imagine. In this case, you are transforming a man into a glamified diva. Art is so cool.

Who else watches this show???? For more info on the show visit
