I got an iPhone for Christmas and to say I am hooked on it is an understatement. I’m totally blown away with how much you can do with this little phone. I am seriously becoming an Apple enthusiast, next up is a Mac book!
For us creative people, we can have a field day expressing ourselves through our pictures with the camera apps for the iPhone. Right now, my favorites are Instagram [a photo sharing community for iPhone users] and Camera+. Instragram is a free app that lets you apply cool filters to your snap shots so you can create different moods/looks for your pics.
Camera+ is AMAZING. It’s like it turns your iPhone camera into a mini DSLR camera. Unlike Instagram, that only lets you apply filters to pictures, Camera+ arms you with many cool features to edit your photos. You have more filter options to choose from, cropping options, can alter photos like rotating them, apply different borders and camera scenes [like auto, beach, portrait and night settings just to name a few!]. It’s on sale right now for $0.99 so get it while the price is low, it is well worth it in my opinion. There are other things you can do with this app that I am still learning. It’s so much fun.
Don’t just limit yourself to one app to create cool photos, use both to create cool effects: I can take a pic that had an Instagram filter on it and then add more cool effects to it in Camera+. Or vice versa. Have fun with these and let your imagination run wild. The possibilities are numerous.
